He has been awarded the President National Tourism Award and Marwar Ratn, also he has served as Secretary to C. M. Rajasthan, Secretary Tourism and Minority Affairs, Govt. of India. He has also worked as Chairman R.P.S.C., and First Vice Chancellor of Rajasthan State Skills University. Dr. Panwar likes to play dholak, read books, and travel, in addition to this he also holds a Doctorate in Tourism.

Dr. Manoj Bhatt, 1981 batch (Rajasthan Cadre) IPS has served as DGP, Rajasthan. A University topper, the "Best Trainee" at NPA,Hyderabad, was conferred with Prime Minister's Baton and Revolver by the Government of India. He has been awarded with the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Services and with the prestigious President's Police Medal for his Distinguished Services as a police officer.

He likes to play tennis and squash, and is a huge fan of Kishore Kumar. Amit Sir is not just a great police officer but also an amazing writer and he proved his art with his first book 'Bihar Dairies' and than later came in his second book ‘Life in the Uniform’.
